Badges that mean something
Four kinds of badges, four tiers of progression, and a handful of secret ones a child is meant to discover β never announced. Every badge is earned, never bought.
What a badge can be
A badge is never just a sticker. Each kind answers a different question β about safety, about ability, about accomplishment, or about who the child is becoming.
Foundation
Every student eventually earns these β safety, measuring, tool ID, the basics of shop discipline.
Skill
These prove actual ability. A skill badge is never granted for attendance β only for demonstrated competency.
Project
The emotional ones. These are the badges a child actually wants to show their friends.
Character
Crew Player, Problem Solver, Helping Hand β the badges that build identity, not just competence.
Every badge at KTA
Filter by type to see what each one requires. Secret badges are shown as locked silhouettes β finding them is part of the fun.
