Serious About Fun.
Even More Serious About Safety.
Kids use real tools here. That only works because our safety standards are written, posted, taught and enforced on every single build.
Serious About Fun.
Even More Serious About Safety.
Parents hand us their kids. That trust is the entire business. Our workshop standards are written, posted and enforced on every single build — and they're designed to be tightened as we finalize facility policies.
Safety language on this page reflects our operating standards and will be updated as policies are finalized for each academy location.
Instructor supervision at all times
No student ever works with a tool outside direct instructor oversight.
Age-appropriate tool selection
Tools are matched to the age and demonstrated readiness of each student group.
Safety instruction before every tool
No tool is used until the group completes instruction and a supervised practice run.
Protective eyewear provided
Clear safety glasses are standard for all workshop activity, no exceptions.
Hearing protection where appropriate
Provided for louder stations and any activity that calls for it.
Controlled workshop zones
Dedicated tool stations with clear boundaries and one student per station.
Small student-to-instructor ratios
Deliberately capped so every student gets hands-on guidance.
Tool-specific certification
Students earn tool certifications before advancing to more capable equipment.
Emergency procedures
Written emergency protocol posted in every workshop zone and rehearsed with staff.
Signed waivers & emergency contacts
Every enrollment includes a signed waiver and verified emergency contacts.
Background-checked instructors
All academy staff complete a background check before working with students.
Posted facility rules
Workshop rules are posted and reviewed with students at the start of each program.
Trust is the whole business.
We don't claim certifications or credentials we haven't earned, and we won't list a facility address before it's real. What we will do is publish our operating standards, invite parents to tour before enrolling, and keep refining these policies as each academy location is finalized.
Specific policies — including waiver language, ratio targets and tool certification requirements — are being finalized and will be posted here before enrollment opens.
Questions for our team?
Ask us anything about safety
We'd rather answer a hard question now than have a parent guess.
Schedule a Tour
Give them something real to finish.
Founding families get early access to class registration, camps, special events and opening offers — before we open the doors to everyone else.
